Microneedling
Microneedling facial
What is microneedling?
Micro-needling is a skin rejuvenation procedure that stimulates collagen production by creating micro-channels in the dermal tissue. This accelerates cellular turnover, resulting in younger, firmer, and rejuvenated skin.
What are the benefits?
This process of using fine needles to create tiny punctures in the skin stimulates the body's natural wound-healing response, encouraging the production of collagen and elastin—two key components that help keep the skin firm, smooth, and youthful. The treatment is often used to improve the appearance of acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and overall skin texture.
Am I a good candidate?
Most skin types can benefit from this treatment, but it is especially helpful for those who are concerned with hyperpigmentation, fine lines, acne scarring, and fine lines & wrinkles. Those with active acne, extremely sensitive or rosacea-prone should avoid this treatment.
What is the downtime?
It is normal to experience redness and mild peeling/flaking for 24 hours after your treatment. Hydrate with hyaluronic acid only for 12-24 hours after the treatment. For the first 2-4 days following your treatment, use only gentle, hydrating products.
How many treatments are advised to see results?
Number of sessions required can vary based on the severity of the area of concern. On average, 3-4 sessions are recommended.
